How do I show my proof of vaccination?

You can come in during staff hours to show us your certificate, or request an email with a link to be sent to you for verification. Being a member based business, we only need to verify your vaccination status once, your membership profile will be updated accordingly.

Is Your Gym 24/7?

Yes, As a Bodyapeel Member you receive a key tag which gives you 24/7 access outside our staffed hours, which are (Mon-Fri) 8:30am-6:30pm (Saturday) 8:30am-12:00pm.

What forms of proof can I use to show my full vaccination status?

Accepted Answer

You can show your proof of vaccination through one of the following ways: 
- COVID-19 vaccination certificate linked to your Service WA check in app.
- COVID-19 vaccination certificate saved on your phone
- Printed copy of COVID-19 vaccination certificate, together with your photo ID
- Printed copy of Immunisation history statement, together with your photo ID

Im 13 Years Old, Can I join?"

Unfortunately due to regulations our minimum age requirements are 14 years of age if you are accompanied by a legal guardian (gym member) training with you (not just supervising), at age 15-18 you can train alone with parental permission on your membership form.

Do You Have Group Sessions?

Yes, We have a great Group Session Timetable that consists of over 80 group sessions per week absolutely FREE if you are a member. Our group sessions consist of 50% “live” group sessions with a instructor (including Les Mills and yoga) and 50% Les Mills Virtual classes which gets shown on your HUGE 4m x 3m projector screen.

Is Bodyapeel Mandurah A Female Only Gym?

No, anyone and everyone can train at Bodyapeel Mandurah if they meet the age requirements (check “Im 13 years old can I join”), we recommend that everyone gets a clearance from their doctor before they commence training.

When will unvaccinated patrons be allowed back in?

Not in the foreseeable future. The WESTERN AUSTRALIAN government made it clear that they will not consider changing the access rules and opening to unvaccinated people until at least sometime in 2023.

Does Your Group Sessions Cost Extra?

No, All our group sessions are included in all off our gym memberships, if you are not a gym member then you can pay our casual rate at reception.

What happens to my membership if I'm not fully vaccinated and can't access the gym?

Your membership can be put on suspension for up to 6 months or until you can show us proof of vaccination.
 
You will not be charged while you are in the suspension period. 
 
To apply for a suspension period, please come in and see us at reception or send us an email. (suspensions will not be automatically added)

Can I Bring My Friend For A Trial Session After Hours?

We do offer a Free Day Pass to anyone wanting to try out the gym, however Free Day Passes are only in staffed hours (check “What Is Your Staffed Hours”)

I've received one dose of vaccine and booked in for my second dose, can I still visit the gym?"

Unfortunately no.
The government regulation made it clear that only fully vaccinated members can enter the gym. Once you're fully vaccinated, show us the proof and we'll reactivate your membership straight away!

What Is Your Staffed Hours?

Our staffed hours are 8:30am-12:00pm (Mon-Fri) and 8:30am-12:00pm (Saturday). But remember if you are a member you have 24/7 access with your key tag.

I can't get the vaccine due to medical reasons, can I still visit the gym?"

If you can show us an official MEDICARE exemption letter/certificate signed by your doctor, together with your photo ID, then you can still access the gym.

Do You Offer A Gym Induction When I Sign Up?

Yes, When you sign up to any of our memberships you are eligible for one of our Free gym inductions by one of our awesome coaches. There are not compulsory to everyone joining, but is Free if you would like to put your name down.

Yes, Shoes must be worn at all times while in the gym for your safety and the hygiene of all our members.

What Is Your Creche Hours?

Our Creche hours are 9:00am-11:30am (Mon-Fri), 4:30pm-7:00pm (Mon-Thurs), 8:15am-10:45am (Saturday).

No, All children that come into the gym must go into the creche in the creche hours, children are not permitted in any other areas of the gym at any time.

Can I Suspend/Hold My Membership?

Accepted Answer

Yes, memberships can be put on hold for a minimum of 14 days and up to 3 months if you go on holiday or get sick or injured. 7 Days notice must be given before the starting date of your suspension. All you need to do is either send us an email with your starting and end date to enquiries@bodyapeelmandurah.com.au or come into reception to fill in a very small form.

Is Their Adequate Parking At Your Gym?

Yes, there is well lit and very safe parking area directly in front of our gym, with around 150 bays.

Yes, we have very clean separate male and female change rooms with 4 individual cubicle showers in each change room for privacy.

Do I have To Bring My Own Gloves For Your Boxing Classes?

Yes, for hygiene purposes we do not provide boxing gloves, they can be bought at reception for you to keep. We do however provide mits for everyone to use in our group sessions or for general use.

Do You Sell Protein Shakes/Bars?

Yes, we have a very large fridge and vending machine with plenty of goodies for your pre workout, post workout or just to enjoy. (Pre workouts ready to drink, water, powerades, protein shakes ready to drink, protein bars, energy drinks etc)

Yes, we sell Core Power Foods for a very cheap $6.95 which can be found in a freezer in our cafe area, Don’t have a microwave at work? No worries, heat it up in our microwave, grab a seat and enjoy your meal in our cafe.

No!
This is a regulation/law set by the state government and it applies to all gyms and physical recreation centres in Western Australia.
Businesses not complying with this rule will face heavy fines and potential legal prosecutions.
